Story of Danzii.
Born from a love of jewellery, Danzii was created by Danielle, a Welsh jewellery designer based in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Danielle was inspired by fond memories of dressing up with her Grandmother in all of her jewellery when she was little.
Drawing further inspiration from her passion for the wild beauty of nature, the calming yet powerful influences of crystals, gemstones & her own spiritual journey - Danzii became a brand which captures these elements in their design & meaning.
Each piece is lovingly crafted by hand from her jewellery shop at Goodsheds in Barry.
The name Danzii came about when joking around the kitchen table with her parents - she wanted to create something unique but something that also had meaning behind it - so it’s a combination of Dannii (her name), Daisy (her Grandmother’s name) & Pansy (her other Grandmother’s favourite flower).
Danielle began creating pieces for herself after a difficult phase in her life & she soon fell in love with the art. After spending several years in a 9-5 corporate job, which didn't satisfy her soul… she knew it was time for a change.
Just four months after Danielle had found the courage & confidence to set up an Etsy shop alongside working full time, she was told that she was being made redundant from her corporate job!
So Danielle saw this as her chance to finally create a life that she absolutely loves… & so that’s exactly what she did!
Our Charities.
We proudly raise money for our chosen charities through the sale of special bracelets from our jewellery collection.
Welsh Women’s Aid.
Our ‘Female Empowerment Bracelet’ has been created with Welsh Women’s Aid in mind. This charity has recently become close to our founder Danielle’s heart, after struggling with her own experience of domestic violence.
We share the mission of Welsh Women’s Aid - we want a world in which women & children live free from domestic abuse & all forms of violence.
We donate £5 to Welsh Women’s Aid* when you purchase our Female Empowerment Bracelet (£45).
